The Business
Paul Rudolph Design (PRD) is a sole proprietorship. The work is typically done by myself from home in the US; ad hoc teams may be formed and additional expertise subcontracted as needed. PRD services range from simple tasks to complex projects.
Equipment includes fast Intel Duo Quad Core processors running XP 32 and Vista 64. Systems graphics have professional series nVidia processing for complex visualization and large CAD assemblies, and 100% color gamut RGB-LED display for accurate color representation. Data is backed up regularly.
Terms for established accounts are net 15 days. Expensed tasks and small projects are typically billed via PayPal email invoice, payable by credit card before release of specified deliverables.

Design Background
Mechanical
Building on several years of Tool & Die Making, CNC Programming and Precision Machining, I began designing tooling and equipment full time for a major medical device manufacturer, then after several years began CAD contract designing using AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER and SolidWorks.
I have worked in tool rooms, machine shops, office cubicles, and online from home, at and for companies large and small, building or designing tooling, equipment and products of various kinds.
Graphic
Since going online in 1999 I have been designing: web sites and web site graphics; print work such as business cards, brochures, and product labels; technical illustrations; animations. In addition to computer graphics I do stylized illustrations and cartoons.
